Kauai Family Restaurant - No thanks

So I read a review of a traditional Hawaiian dish called Loco Moco online and they said this place in Georgetown called Kauai Family Restaurant did it right. Three of us went there for lunch today to check it out. I guess if you are not Hawaiian or a cop don't bother. The place was plenty busy, full of, you guessed it, Hawaiians and cops. We sat at the one open table and were ignored completely by the one waitress working the room for at least 10 minutes. A couple of folks in uniform came in after us and were promptly waited on. Eventually we just left. It seemed pretty clear that we were intentionally being ignored. So Kauai Family Kitchen? I'll pass.
